Bridges

In Room 21 we are studying bridges. We have been talking about ‘beam bridges’ and ‘suspension bridges.’ Last week we built our own bridges using newspaper. Your challenge is to look at the following bridges and to leave comments about what they are called, where in the world they are and anything else of interest about them.

I think the one at the top is Tower Bridge. It is Miss Bodger’s favourite bridge. It is in London, England.

The next 2 are Sydney Harbour Bridge and The Rialto Bridge. I found them by googling 15 most famous bridges!! I’ll show you on Monday.

I got the last 2. Brooklyn Bridge is the next one and is a suspension bridge in New York where I want to go. The last one is the Harbour Bridge in Auckland and you can Bungy jump off it!!
